Character & Leadership Curriculum

Our Character and Leadership Curriculum is woven into daily life where we focus on our student’s social/emotional development and individual well-being. As a small boarding school community, we have a unique opportunity to focus on improving personal habits. In addition, faculty members at Oxford strive to create a positive community in
which all students feel connected and supported in their efforts to better themselves.

The CLC is a seminar-based program that meets weekly to build honest and respectful communication among students. This allows us to create an environment in which students feel they are actively responsible for creating a positive atmosphere.

Topics range and allow for growth and development as the student progresses through their journey at Oxford. Younger students will focus on the basics; like alarm setting, self-care, and how to get involved in weekend activities. Older students will learn about owning their living space and curating a positive dorm experience for themselves and others.
