World Language

Title: Residential World Language Instructor (Multiple Language Tracks Considered)

THE OPPORTUNITY Oxford Academy is seeking a dynamic and versatile World Language Educator to join our faculty for the upcoming academic year. This is a “Triple Threat” opportunity for an individual passionate about making a significant, positive impact on the lives of adolescent boys both in and out of the classroom. The successful candidate will integrate fully into our community, balancing academic instruction with essential residential mentorship and extracurricular leadership.

THE ROLE While we maintain a robust Spanish program, we are looking to expand our elective offerings by introducing a second language track. We are currently accepting applications from educators fluent in Mandarin, Italian, French, German, or Latin (other languages will be considered). Our goal is to match a candidate’s specific expertise with our students’ interests to create an engaging, immersive linguistic experience.

THE RESIDENTIAL COMPONENT The Residential Faculty component of this role is mandatory and is a core part of the Oxford Academy experience. This position is accompanied by a robust compensation package, which includes spacious, private housing and full board.

Social Studies or Science teacher- Maritime interest preferred

Title: Residential Science or Social Studies Faculty (Maritime Focus)

THE OPPORTUNITY Oxford Academy seeks a dedicated and maritime-minded educator to join our faculty as a full-time Residential Faculty member. This is a unique “Triple Threat” opportunity for an individual passionate about making a significant, positive impact on the lives of adolescent boys both in and out of the classroom. The successful candidate will integrate fully into our community, balancing academic rigor with essential residential mentorship and extracurricular leadership.

THE ROLE We are currently offering one opening with two potential academic tracks based on the candidate’s background. We are seeking a Maritime teacher with either a Science or Social Studies focus. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage our unique coastal location to bring maritime history, ecology, or navigation to life, providing students with a hands-on, specialized elective experience.
