Keep Learning This Summer

Oxford Academy Summer Students

Summer is long and learning loss is real. We encourage students to learn and connect with new friends during our summer session. Oxford Academy’s Summer Session is currently enrolling! Oxford Academy offers a fun and educational summer experience for students ages 13-19. Our summer session is designed to help students explore their interests, discover new passions, and build their knowledge and skills. We offer a wide range of classes from traditional courses to marine biology, forensics, art, and academic skill-building courses. After classes, students participate in a variety of organized activities including sailing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, games, intramural sports, trips to nearby cities, art museums, seaports, beaches, and more. These activities provide students with the chance to connect with new friends, learn together, and enjoy seaside recreation during the summertime.

Our experienced and knowledgeable teachers provide students with the opportunity to explore their interests in a supportive and enriching environment. Classes are individualized and offered one-to-one or in small groups on our Westbrook campus, a short walk to the beach on Long Island Sound. We welcome students with unique learning needs including ADHD, dyslexia, executive function challenges, and related issues. Summer is the time to build learning capacity and prepare for the coming school year.

Our summer session also provides students with the opportunity to make new friends, develop leadership skills, and build confidence. We believe it is important for students to learn in a safe and nurturing environment, and our staff is dedicated to providing an atmosphere that encourages learning and growth. At Oxford Academy boarding school in CT, we strive to ensure that students have a summer experience that is both enjoyable and educational. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
