For students who would like an additional year to prepare for a successful college experience, Oxford Academy offers a program of individualized instruction geared toward building confidence.

At the beginning of each season, Oxford’s basketball coaches receive a new batch of students interested in joining the team. Even as a varsity program, all members of the school community who want to join the team, make the team. As a group, the team focuses fundamentals of the game, including passing, dribbling, shooting, as well as offensive and defensive strategies. We focus on sportsmanship and improving athletic ability and physical fitness. Most importantly, we learn to work together as a team, supporting our teammates and taking pride in wearing the Oxford Blue. Our philosophy and the hard work of Oxford’s players and coaches has lead to a 68-20 record over the last 6 years.

The Oxford Academy Charge will participate in its second season within the Coastal Prep League – after a semi-final appearance in our maiden CPL season.
