Social and emotional learning is cultivated across programs and the speaker series allows the student
to dig into challenging topics.
Oxford’s Adolescent Life Education is designed to provide the students with information on a wide range of topics. This is done by inviting speakers from within Oxford as well as various outside organizations to speak with the students. Presentations have included workshops dealing with Smoking Cessation, Sexual Harassment, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Banking, Nutrition, Alcohol Awareness, Crime and Punishment, The Role of the Male in Society, and Sensitivity Training. This program also includes all-school community service and community outreach events.
